Paul Daley targets one more fight before challenging for the title, thinks St. Pierre should have finished one-eyed Koscheck

Strikeforce welterweight contender, Paul “Semtex” Daley has been giving his thoughts on the timeline he’d prefer before challenging Nick Diaz for his crown next year, before giving the man from Stockton some much deserved credit.

Speaking via TheGarv.com, Daley said:

“Well I’d like to have one more fight in March before a fight with Diaz for the belt, so we’ll see who they offer, and I will take the best fight they come with. He’s tough, he’s a real fighter, he fights from off his back, got a strong top game, and awesome boxing…he’s real good.”

Daley was then asked what he thought of the recent welterweight clash between Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck, saying:

“Great jab from GSP, but for a lot of the fight Koscheck had one eye. I really think GSP should of finished the fight based on this.”

There are a few interesting names in the mix for Daley, with journeyman K.J. Noons and lightweight champion, Gilbert Melendez seemingly throwing their hat into the ring. Will Daley prove one final point before challenging Diaz for his crown or is there a fighter out there who will bring this fairytale start to his Strikeforce career crashing down around him?
